Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Zagreb, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a relaxed evening at your leisure.
In the morning, embark on a city tour of Zagreb, which encompasses a stroll through the historic Upper Town. During this excursion, you’ll have the opportunity to visit iconic landmarks like St. Mark’s Church, the Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the Lotrščak Tower.
We’ll depart in the morning for the awe-inspiring Plitvice National Park, renowned for its 16 interconnected lakes and cascading waterfalls—a setting reminiscent of the scenic landscapes featured in Karl May movies. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, as you’ll embark on a captivating 3-hour walk through this enchanting natural wonder. You’ll also have the opportunity to savor a boat ride on the emerald-green Kozjak Lake before walking back to the park’s entrance.
Start your day with a guided morning tour of Opatija, a resort town steeped in history that once hosted 19th-century elites such as Wilhelm II, Franz Josef, Gustav Mahler, and Isadora Duncan. Following your tour, make your way to the Opatija harbor to check in on the vessel.
Prior to our 13:00 departure, luggage transfer will be efficiently arranged. Enjoy a delightful onboard lunch and anticipate a refreshing swim stop in the crystal-clear waters as we journey towards Krk Island, Croatia’s largest. Krk offers an abundance of experiences, from charming villages to lush green promenades, rugged wilderness, secluded islands, and countless hidden bays and beaches.
Following breakfast, set sail towards Rab, famously dubbed the “island of love.” Upon arrival, participate in a guided tour to explore the island’s enchanting features, including its imposing stone walls, Romanesque church towers, palaces, and ancient facades. Rab’s streets and squares often serve as open-air galleries, with artists creating their works outdoors. Be sure to savor a taste of the renowned “Rapska torta” cake. If the weather is favorable, consider a leisurely stroll up to Kamenjak Hill to witness a breathtaking sunset.
Set off from Rab in the morning, cruising past Pag Island’s unique moon-like landscape, with a refreshing swim stop at tiny Maun Island. In Zadar, consider an optional guided tour. Zadar is a cultural gem, boasting treasures like the Roman Forum from the 1st century AD, the 9th-century AD Church of St. Donatus, stunning city walls from the 16th century AD, and an array of palaces. Don’t miss the modern marvels, the Zadar Sea Organ, and “The Greeting to the Sun” light installation. Enjoy great dining options along the waterfront.
We’ll set sail early towards either Molat or Olib island (based on available harbor space) in the tranquil northern part of the Zadar archipelago. Here, you’ll find nothing but pure peace and serenity. Tonight, we invite you to revel in the Captain’s dinner party on board, making it an evening to remember.
Following breakfast and a refreshing morning swim, we’ll set the course for Ilovik. Despite its modest population, Ilovik boasts enchanting bays and crystalline waters. We’ll make a brief stop before continuing towards Lošinj, renowned as the “sunshine island” for its abundant pine forests, wildflowers, and aromatic herbs.
Lošinj is a favored destination in the northern Adriatic, celebrated for its hidden coves and a laid-back Mediterranean ambiance. Upon arrival, take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque waterfront or venture up to the Lošinj Aromatic Garden, where indigenous herbs and plants flourish. The charming town of Veli Lošinj is easily accessible on foot if you wish to explore further.
Following breakfast and a morning swim, we’ll embark on our journey towards Cres. This unspoiled island, characterized by its elongated and narrow form, is a treasure trove of olive groves, vineyards, dense oak and beech forests, and captivating stone walls. It’s worth noting that Cres and Mali Lošinj were once a single island, only to be separated by a narrow channel created by the Romans.
As evening approaches, we’ll dock in the port of Cres, a quintessential medieval town where you’ll spend the night, immersing yourself in its historic charm.
Following breakfast, we’ll set sail towards Opatija, known as the famous Opatija Riviera, which reveals its true beauty from the sea. Upon our arrival in the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a walking tour.
Take a leisurely stroll along Croatia’s longest seaside promenade, the Lungomare, or consider a visit to Volosko, a charming traditional fishing village renowned for hosting some of the country’s finest fish restaurants.
As our final night on board approaches, we invite you to join us for a memorable farewell party beneath the starlit sky, creating a perfect ending to our voyage together.
Come together for a last breakfast, sharing farewells with newfound friends and our dedicated crew, who will bid you farewell as you disembark in the Opatija port.
